For a person to be an Aalim, or do tafseer, derive rulings, etc... One has to have a deep understanding of Arabic; Not modern busted colloquial or even modern standard Arabic, but rather Classical Arabic that was used by Arabs at the time of Rasulullah صلى الله عليه و سلم so we can understand how speech was used and how Quran responded to their speech.

 If a person wants to learn the mode of speech used in that time, they have to learn Jahilliayah poetry and its medaphoric/hyperbolic/symbolic style. Because that is the same style The Quran challenged them in. Thats why it took Imam Shafi'a Rahimahullah 10 years with the Beduin Arabs to learn the Arabic language. This includes learning 'ilm assarf ( morphology), 'ilm alnahw (syntax and grammar), and balaaghah (rethoric). Along side with knowing real Arabic, a person has to know the tafseer of Quran by using the Quran itself. That means knowing the 6626 Iyahs and how there meanings are explained by each other. Then what Rasulullah صلى الله عليه و سلم stated about the Iyah, as Allah SWT declared His responsibility in Quran: (و انزلنا اليك الذكر لتبين للناس (نحل 44 We sent down the dhikr(Quran) so you can explain it to the people.

 Literally having familiarity with over 10s of thousands of Hadith. Then also Aathar Assahabah, narrations of the campanions. Assbaab annuzul(reasons for revelation of Ayaat) Narrations of the salaf who followed the campanions, and their ijma (concensus). Thats why when we look at how different scholars established their rulings, they had people in all different specilties to establish an opinion. i.e. Imam Abu Haneefa who had met some sahabah, had 40 different scholars in their respective fields(who had learned what was said above) give their opinion based on the Quran and Sunnah in his shura.

 People like Abdulllah bin Mubarak (hafidh alHadeeth fee alummah) knew over 40 thousand hadith, Ma'an, who spent his whole life studying Arabic, Abu Yusuf who is known as Qaadi alQudaa (when Islam had Khilafah, they would take his and his teachers opinion), and other mufasireen, fuqahaa, muhadditheen etc... These people spent their whole lives dedicated for preserving this Deen of Allah SWT. 

And now a days we have people who give their short viewed opinions after reading a few books or listening to some lectures. May Allah return this Deen back the way it was during our khilafaah and how it has been practiced for the last 1400 hundred years. Ameen

***لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ***
***There is none worthy of worship except You, Glory to You, Indeed, I have been of the transgressors***

Prophet Muhammad (BUH) said: “The supplication of Dhun-Nun (Prophet Yunus) when he supplicated, while in the belly of the whale was: ‘There is none worthy of worship except You, Glory to You, Indeed, I have been of the transgressors. (La Ilaha Illa Anta Subhanaka Inni Kuntu Minaz-Zalimin)’ So indeed, no Muslim man supplicated with it for anything, ever, except Allah responds to him.” (Sahih, Ref.: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3505).


To get your supplication accepted you have 1st to "acknowledge" that U made Mistake...Look here to the first Repentance or our first Father (Adam) and Mother (Hawa'):

قَالَا رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
